NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) is an advanced, revolvable, and design-flexible heavy-lift launch multi-role vehicle that will be the most powerful rocket ever created.
It will carry the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and will serve as a cargo transport, carrying science experiments and equipment into deep space. The SLS is a safe, sustainable, and affordable means of broadening Mankind’s reach into the solar system, paving the way for even greater expansion. Most importantly, the spacecraft will allow astronauts aboard the Orion to venture into deep-space, exploring multiple destinations such as asteroid bodies and at some point will travel to Mars. The SLS marks the beginning of humanity’s commercial space exploration expeditions.
